Jan joined HP in Belgium in 1987 as a Services Sales Rep. He then moved to different sales and marketing management positions until he was appointed Country Marketing manager for HP Belgium & Luxemburg in 1993. From 1997 he assumed the role of Business Planning & Quality Manager before taking the position of HR Director for HP in Belgium and Luxemburg in 1999. In 2001 he was appointed HR Director for the Northern European Region, and in 2005 he moved to his current position. Since 2012 Jan is also leading the Program Management Office for the EMEA Move2Win Program, which is a strategic framework for career mobility and workforce readiness. Jan holds Master degrees in Economics (Antwerp University), Marketing (Ghent University) and Internal Audit (Antwerp University). He also holds Executive qualifications from Stanford University (Management of High Tech Companies) and Harvard Business School (Strategic Human Resources Management).
